Progetto CMR and Huawei inaugurate the new hub in the presence of the institutions

The new Huawei headquarters in Milan was inaugurated in the presence of the institutions.

Designed by Progetto CMR, it is a real smart office and Innovation, Experience and Competence Center (IECC), where it will be possible to know and experiment the most advanced solutions for the digitalization of the public and private sector.

Michele Geraci, Undersecretary for Economic Development, Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Region, Song Xuefeng, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China and Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan, were present for the ribbon cutting. The company was represented by European Vice President Abraham Liu and Italy’s CEO Thomas Miao.

The inauguration takes place in the fifteenth year of Huawei’s presence in Italy and it is only the last of the important stages that, from 2008 onwards, have seen the multinational as an active subject of innovation in the country. On these premises Progetto CMR has created the new offices of Huawei creating a connection between the values ​​of the company and the city that hosts it and linking the colors and distinctive forms of the company with the vocation for design and symbols key to the urban face of Milan.
