In June 9th 2011 was held the grand opening ceremony of Florentia Village – China’s first Italian Luxury Designer Outlets.
The evening ceremony in Wuqing has seen the participation of lots important guests, above all the top management of the Italian and Chinese developer, representing by Mr Jacopo Mazzei – Chairman and CEO of RDM Group – and Mr Howard Li – Chairman and CEO of Waitex Group.
RDM ASIA Real Estate (Fingen Group), an Italian successful key leader in worldwide development of outlet properties, in Join Venture with Waitex Group promoted its first luxury retail outlet centre in China, named Florentia Village Outlet Mall. It is located in Wuqing, a district between Beijing and Tianjin. The location is just in front of the “bullet train” station so it could be reached in a few minutes from both cities.
Progetto CMR provided a wide consultancy involving scheme design development, construction drawings, site supervision and administrative procedure assistance.
The outlet is definitely a unique hot-spot designed to provide to customers the full choice of top luxury fashion and accessories brands in a typical Italian historical city background. A key issue, along both the design and construction stage, was the “high quality standard”, a trade mark for all RDM Real Estate properties.
The outlet is characterized by the authentic Italian style with fabulous architecture, including a canal running through the entire village with gondolas, elegant arena and bridges, beautiful fountains, romantic squares and porticoes. The aim of the project is to create a perfect destination for a shopping-day trip for families, friends and lovers with a lot of point of attractions within the village. The first phase, is more than 48.000 sqm built area.
